On Tuesday morning Boston Police arrested Tabari Muhammad , 31, of Boston. Muhammad was wanted on warrants out of Boston Municipal Court for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Just after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, officers with the Boston Police Department were on patrol in the area of 478 Tremont Street when they observed a motor vehicle fail to stop for a red light.
Officers conducted a traffic stop, and after approaching the vehicle and making contact with the occupants of the vehicle they recognized the passenger as Muhammad, who they believed had a warrant.
After following instructions by officers to exit the vehicle, Muhammad was handcuffed and taken into custody.
